Introduction
The modern era of learning provides access to different
resources and it gives great exposure to effective learning. Different from the
old system where students learn what they were given, children they learn
something new from every moment in this present situation. Classroom teaching
and learning changed to the online learning of technological advancement. There
are different applications, websites and online platforms before us to explore
the subjects that we need. Language learning requires active effort from the
part of learner and practice and using of language makes language acquisition
perfect and it is evident from how we learn the first language, the mother
tongue through the continuous listening from the day a child enters the world.
The babbling’s become distinct sounds and the same happens in the case of
second language learning. The English teachers and teacher educators find
different ways to achieve this end through innovative activities as in the task

and meet effective communication needs and standards and this assignment looks

BBC Quiz related to language generates interest to work out answers of preposition questions, idioms and phrases, listening questions etc. so it develops speaking ,listening, and reading skills of learners. The pronunciation and fluency makes us sit in front of it and it is more catchy and useful than the time killing worthless videos. So teachers can use these videos as work outs and give them language activities related to textual chapters and ask them to create one and guide them for it etc. The talks or videos discussing certain important topics reflect the realistic ways to tackle different problems of real life like the video with the title “who owns water?” it shows the elements of water being human rights and incorporate the views and opinions of social activists and human rights activists words etc. It will develop in learners to have their own perspectives, views and rights regarding a subject and expressing skills to open up and argue. In a short span of time learner or teacher will be able to analyse key aspects of each test. It is a great example describing something should have planning- general summary, location, add details and speculate. Using particular words as introductory, transition and opinion phrases etc. The video also advocate to exclude labelling of pictures from a surface level. Minute details were taken care of. The Duolingo website is more often a testing process that make one conscious about one’s ability to use language.
