Efficiency in teaching of English language will be reflected in the performance of the learner both inside and outside the  classroom. Education systems   that are dynamic  adopt  certain techniques   for  efficient transaction of ideas. There are certain techniques in  teaching and its prime goal is to serve as a touch stone of successful English teaching. The teachers adopt certain approaches, methods, and creative techniques to teach functions, vocabulary items etc.  Computer Assisted Learning (CAL)  is one such method.  Let us explore  how  CAL  can be used for  teaching  the  SCERT  Course book.
